On this episode, hosts Brian Belter and Kevin Smith begin to work their way through the book of Exodus. Today we hear about how God continues to fulfill His promises to keep and protect His people even in the midst of troubled times. We also join in a discussion on what it meant to for God’s people be sojourners and strangers while we also have our hearts open to sojourners and immigrants today.

I focused this week on the reproduction of God’s people and how that has changed in our culture. God has always been about multiplication of those who are His. Sadly, the world in which we live make non-reproduction more virtuous for financial, self-promotion, health or leisure reasons. God said in the beginning: God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it”….Gen 1:28a. Sadly, because of sin, we just subdue each other. It is indeed a scary thing for those who do not share our God to see us grow and the resulting fears of domination are still the same; elimination. Good study.
